From the 20 to the 23rd of July in Milan will be held the First Italian Edition of Campus Party.
It’s the greatest technological experience of the world which brings together young geeks in a festival of innovation, creativity, science, entrepreneurship & entertainment.
The Campus Party’s mission is to inspire and prepare the Campuseros and the cities on the challenge of being neuralgic part of the changes that humanity will live in the coming years.
Campus Party motto says that “the knowledge grows when it is shared”, that´s why the event has a formative spirit from the beginning. Every edition they invite personalities in the areas of science, technology, entrepreneurship, leisure and creativity so they can share their knowledge and experience with our campuseros.
Founded in 1997 in Spain, after 61 editions in 11 countries, Campus Party is a unique event because it allows institutions, companies, universities, online communities and creative young people to meet creating a virtuous whirlwind.
The first Italian edition, will be held at MiCo in Milan and there will be also an area used for b 2,000 “campuseros“: programmers, startuppers, computer scientists, designers and (why not, even curious) will be able to stay in the tent 24 hours. Then two more zones: the Arena, organized in 6 stages, which will host 400 hours of content, and presentations of ideas born during hackathons. Finally, Experience, where visitors can discover new technologies, from virtual reality to simulators, from robots to drones.
Among the international guests already confirmed: physicist Federico Faggin, the writer Roberto Saviano; Neil Harbisson, Moon Ribas, Chance Glasco and Anna Frosi.

Usually when I participate to events I suggest important speeches. Since here, there are too many and too many are interesting I’m not going to do it, beacouse I’d like to partecipate almost to all of them (and It’s quite impossible).
I advice you to follow me on Twitter where I’m going to give info, news and live update about the event and what I will do. Unfortunately I cannot join the 20 to the opening ceremony but on Friday 21st I’ll be there, ready to enjoy, learn and meet lots of new people.
I have to thank the Università Cattolica (my university) and the organizers of Campus Party to let me join!
See you there!
